Key Performance Metrics of Solar Film:
  1. VLT = Visible Light Transmittance (%) = How much visible light passes through the film.
    • 0% (more glare reduction) → 100% (more transparent).
  2. UVR = UV Rejection (%) = How much ultraviolet (mostly UVA/UVB) is blocked.
    • 0% (less rejection) → 100% (more blocked).
  3. IRR = Infrared Rejection (%) = How much infrared (heat-related radiation) is blocked.
    • 0% (heat) → 100% (cooler).
Important notes:
  • Images used are for illustrative purposes only and may not accurately reflect the actual product.
  • Any printing involving white color must fill the area with white, and choose the correct option.
  • For any frosted area, do not fill any color(including white). We will fill the grey frosting with your selected option.
  • There will be no area that will be transparent or clear in the final printing.

Printable Solar Films

Printable Solar film is a thin, transparent or tinted polymeric window film that sticks to glass to reduce heat, glare, and UV, and in printable versions also lets you print graphics (logos, ads, patterns) directly on the film before installation.

  • What it does: blocks a portion of the sun’s energy (heat), cuts harsh light (glare), and filters UV that causes fading.
  • Where it goes: applied on the inside surface of building windows most of the time (better durability), or on the using outdoor-grade film when needed.
