Hot Foil Application Terms:
  • For hot foil orders, we can apply a solid layer of gold foil over a colored background. However, we cannot align foil to match specific design elements, such as gold text precisely within a decorative frame. Orders requiring exact foil positioning will be canceled and refunded. We recommend simpler designs for best results with foil applications.
Important Note:
  • Designs with borders are NOT recommended.
  • Tolerance is required for designs with borders.
  • Tolerance is required for positioning in double-sided printing.
  • Cursive fonts and texture may cause uneven hot foil chrome effect.
  • Hot foiling is best for 1mm to 5mm thickness; larger areas may show defects.
  • The material will be matte surface to better highlight the chrome effects.
  • Chrome effect is only printable on one side of the print (front) and not on both.
  • Images used are for illustrative purposes only and may not accurately reflect the actual product.
File requirements:
  • Minimum 1mm thickness of the fonts/strokes for hot foil chrome effect.
  • Files must be in Adobe Illustrator (.ai) files with vector lines.
